Last night I went to a ceroc class. the format in these classes is that you learn a move bit by bit and in the process you swap partners every minute or so.
Normally at these classes I try the men’s role – to learn a bit of leading ( and so get to talk to a lot of ladies, some on whom would clearly much rather be spending that minute partnered with a man, but never mind..)
Last night there was an excess of men so I went on the followers’ side. So many men, so many questions, so many smiles. God loves a trier, to quote a very good friend of mine!
Ceroc is a lovely, safe environment to meet people (bearing in mind that the average age is ‘not young’) and I’d totally recommend it for the reasons of sociability, learning new skills and fun. Sure beats sitting home watching TV.
