It’s so dreary up North

That’s the common misconception of the North of England – dull, dreary, cold and grey.

How wrong could that be? We are blessed to have the most stunning coastline, embraced by fabulous hills and steeped in centuries of rich history and all that leaves behind.

So what if it’s occasionally a bit breezy. So what if you occasionaly need an extra layer of clothing. This is home and there’s no place I’d rather be.

A flask of tea, bare feet in the sand – sunshine warming my body and this view to lighten my mood.

The North is far from dreary – but sshhh … don’t tell everyone..
