Healthy eating VS Nutrigenomics

Perhaps this is too heavy for a Friday evening – but just wanted to put it simply – in a way that I understand it to be.

Healthy eating is great – a healthy well-balanced diet swill get you far. There are many advisers and plenty companies offering supplements to assist you make beneficial changes to your diet.

Nutrigenomics is not just health eating – nutrigenomics is the science examining the relationship of what we eat and how that influences our genes and gene expression. The study of how what we consume can make positive changes to the function of our body on a cellular level. Nutrigenomics is key to those wishing to improve their healthspan as well as their lifespan. This field is one which is growing and one which will become more mainstream in coming years – in the meantime you can stay ahead as there are companies offering products which are proven to enable those benefits.
