30 years ago today I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. After a whole day of hospital she arrived just after 9pm on a Sunday.
So much has happened in those 30 years – I think I’d barely recognise myself from all those years ago. She now lives in the Midlands where she was born and brought up – and I live in the North East of England where I retired t 2 1/2 years ago. So on Sunday we met in the middle for a socially distanced birthday celebration.
I could go on about the amazing person she is and always has been – but I’ll leave all that as a given. Looking forward to seeing her in her new home where we can get all the siblings together (there are 4 in total) and have a proper party!
