Apple crumble

Got to love it when your relatives have apple trees and they deliver their excess produce to you. Apples have been arriving over the last few weeks.

Apple crumble is my favourite – most because it’s so easy to make to be fair!

5 or 6 freshly delivered apples

150g SR flour

40g oats

75g sugar

75g coconut oil (solid state)

Chop apples – place in cooking dish

add all other ingredients to mixing bowl and using a fork, break up the oil. Mix well. Cover the apples with this mixture.

Cook for 30 mins 190C (I don;t know the gas conversion, sorry)

Enjoy with whatever floats your boat – ice cream , yoghurt with a bit of cumin sprinkled on top, custard – wahtever.

What could be easier?!
